Festifall at the Garden
At the Huntsville Botanical Garden, there are a wide variety of activities for you and your family to participate in this season. As the weather cools down and the leaves begin to change, spending a day outdoors at the garden is the perfect way to take in all things fall! From now until Halloween, the garden is open 9:00AM to 6:00PM all days excluding holidays.
Start your day off walking through the scarecrow trail to see the unique scarecrows, hand-made by members of our community. Walk through the garden to see the seasonal fall plants including mums, sunflowers, and perennials! On your way out, be sure to pick out a pumpkin to carve or paint with your family and friends. Tate Farms Pumpkin Patch
Fall would not be the same without a visit to a pumpkin patch! Tate Farms is a unique pumpkin patch in the Huntsville, Alabama area. River Clay Fine Arts Festival
Another great way to spend a weekend in October is by witnessing the creations of some of the local artists at the River Clay Fine Arts Festival. Experience this festival in downtown Decatur. This festival has something for everyone in the family! Grab some lunch at one of the many food trucks, bring your kids to the child art crafts, and check out local student art at the exhibits. Take a stroll admiring the various art styles including ceramics, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and more!
